It's T. Harv Eker's MMI again...but a year later...
"What is the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING you need to understand in order to succeed in anything in life?"
That's the question I ask a lot when I conduct training for my home-based Internet business to my business partners.
And it can take quite awhile for someone to realize that it's not money, not effort, not love but its...
TIME
Yes, time...
That's because nothing significant can ever be achieved in a day. I'm sure you've heard that Rome was not built in a day (and not in a night either).
In fact, the only way to achieve anything in life is to set a goal, and then make a plan, and start taking focused action to work on achieving the goal over time.
Last year, this time, I attended T. Harv Eker's MMI - Millionaire Mind Intensive (MMI) as you can see in my previous post.
And this year's MMI in Singapore happened just 2 weeks ago!
I was literally shocked that a year just zipped by...
...it's frightening
...it's scary
...it's a feeling of a sense of loss
...it's a mixed bag of emotions
A year gone by... and another Christmas is coming next, and then 2009!
"Hey, what have you achieved in one year?" I heard a little voice asked myself.
Have I made the best of 2008?
And have you?
Well, in a way, I'm glad I've made a lot of progress for my core home-based business that's currently gaining the momentum and excitement that I wanted.
Plus, I made some pretty interesting and mouth-watering trips to neighbouring Malaysia up north, so much so that I decided to start another blog:
http://rogerloh-malaysia.blogspot.com
I guess... as long as we're building something each and every day and moving forward, we're making the best of time, rather than not moving forward at all.
Thanks for reading my rant... I bet you there'll be alot more coming once I pull myself together after taking care of some demanding workload in the next few weeks :-)

T. Harv Eker's Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar LIVE in Asia
Last weekend, T. Harv Eker, a personal development guru and business educator, conducted the very first Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar in Singapore!
T. Harv Eker's Peak Potentials is a company based in North America that does training to help people realize their potential. Typically, they conduct 2 to 3 seminars per week, each with 1,000 to 3,000 participants.
Based on his book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth, a bestselling book, the seminar last weekend was attended by around 5,000 participants, probably the largest crowd ever!
Frankly, I found that this is among the best, if not the BEST seminar of the last 20 seminars I attended (visit http://www.rogerloh.com/ for details)

Fione Tan appeared on Channel News Asia
As I was taking a short break from my online business, I flipped on the TV...
... and was just in time to catch a glimpse of Fione Tan, a young but accomplished Internet marketer around Asia, being interviewed by Channel News Asia on the 'Cents&Sensibility' which is a weekly episode. Check this out at:
http://www.ChannelNewsAsia.com/cents
This episode discusses how to quit your job and not starve!
I wish I had some of this information before I quit the rat race more than ten years ago and save myself a lot of challenges and struggles.

A Tribute To My Mom
8th October 2007. 10.25 am.
I’m in Klang, Malaysia (about half an hour drive away from Kuala Lumpur) for a short business trip.
An hour ago, my sister rang and told me my mom had passed away!
To me, she had left us several years ago.
She’s 81 this year and had been senile for the past few years. In fact, it’s a release for her as she suffered from pain, diabetes, high blood, etc as she move on to the next world.
Her life had been purposeful bringing all of us up selflessly!
We all love her … she sacrificed her life for us, never thinking for her own interests. I learned PERSEVERANCE from her! She kept going day after day despite her struggles and challenges holding on to the belief that there’s light at the end of the tunnel… and it finally came for her! I felt that she had been saved…as I feel very peaceful. Thank GOD for that!
Back in Singapore in the 1960’s and 70’s, life was hard and it was a HUGE struggle!
No one who does not know the history of Singapore would suspect that just 30 years ago, it was a totally different society and so much had taken place in just three short decades.
In addition to doing all the housework, my mom had to work very hard day after day, sewing and washing clothes for others to supplement the household income as she brought up 8 children almost single-handedly!!!
She never complained …
She just kept going!
I remember asking her about life when I was in my teens and she told me that as she kept moving on day after day, things will work out very soon. And finally, we all grew up and she could ‘retire’ from being a housewife. No more marketing, no more cooking, no more chores.
Unfortunately, she could not enjoy life much as she was inflicted with sickness.
In her last few years, she could not recognize anyone of us. She’s like a stranger to us and we strangers to her. Sad :-(
May she rest in peace ... and she’ll always live in my memory. She’s a model mom to me and I thank GOD for her!!

Stephen Pierce's UYMG event in KL, Malaysia
A hectic week had passed by where more than 600 internet marketers attended one of the biggest internet marketing seminars in this part of the world.
UYMG stands for 'Unleash Your Marketing Genius' is an event produced by Stephen Pierce, a leading Internet marketer. Already held once in March 2007 in Singapore, it was just concluded after 4 days in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia.
Besides Stephen, several world-renowned speakers were also at the event such as Mike Filsaime of 'Butterfly Marketing' fame, Dave Larkhani who is well known for persuasion. Our local internet marketing professional, Jaz Lai also spoke at the event. In fact, to me, his presentation was one of the best.

Want To Eat This Coin?
I was totally fascinated with an 'old' friend... (he's in his 70's)
He took out a coin, made it disappear and then even more fascinating, he bite a quarter off it!
It made me so curious I has to scour the Net looking for the secret and this is what I found:
